Hobie First Cast Program

Anglers on Hobie fishing kayaks during a First Cast outing

Hobie First Cast makes it easier than ever to experience fishing from a Hobie kayak. Spend a few hours on a guided tour with local and regional Hobie Fishing Pros to:

  • Learn fishing basics from people who know where and how to catch fish locally
  • Try a Hobie kayak on the water for the complete kayak fishing experience
  • Meet new people, have a great time on the water, and create some new fish stories

Cost and what is included

Cost is $100 per participant, which includes use of a Hobie fishing kayak, water safety equipment, and basic gear and tackle (feel free to bring your own). The First Cast fee may be applied to a Hobie kayak purchase for up to one year after your outing.

Age requirements

Anglers under 18 must present a signed parent/guardian liability waiver, and those under 16 must be accompanied by a participating parent/guardian.
